This top has been finished for a couple of weeks but I'm really not sure what to back it with or how to quilt it. I'd better decide soon though as I haven't got much time to finish it before my trip!
This is so pretty. Is it done with set in seams? I just can't figure out how you pieced it. I just love though. One of the cutest uses of that HR fabric line. I'd love to know what pattern you used or if you designed yourself.
Thanks for your comment! I must confess, I don't know what set it seams are :) I fussy cut each picture then gave them each a 2 inch border before putting them all together. I didn't use a pattern - I told my husband what dimensions I wanted it to end up being and he helped me with the math. There are 8 blocks that started with a 5X5 square (to which I added a 2 inch border), 4 blocks that were 8X5 (plus border) and 4 blocks that were 11X5. Hope that's clear - I'm an internet-taught quilter and am just learning so I don't know all the lingo!
