The only reason this took so long to finish was that it was super short and I didn't know how to hem it to try to maintain all the length I could. In the end, I bound the bottom in bias tape and slipstitched it. It doesn't make for a very crisp hem, though, and is especially wonky where it meets the jacket facing.
The inside and outside look gorgeous!
ReplyDeletethank-you! I just bought fabric for another version.
DeleteMel, I am about to cut this out, and wondered if you interfaced both the front and front facing like the pattern cutting guide suggests. The interfacing isn't in the instructions and it seems unnecessary. ..
ReplyDeleteoh, it's been awhile so I don't remember that part of the instructions. I just checked though and I did interface them both. Hope it goes well for you, it's a nice pattern!
