I can imagine three kids and your own business would make it hard to find time to sew :)Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12415111477138449915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8471085394238910352.post-59943474130985135922014-01-05T10:03:09.806-05:002014-01-05T10:03:09.806-05:00hehe! that's a great approach!! then next ye...hehe! that's a great approach!! then next year you call it "stash" and it doesn't cost anything at all ;)Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12415111477138449915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8471085394238910352.post-14602984063044992602014-01-04T15:56:20.226-05:002014-01-04T15:56:20.226-05:00Something else I do lots of guilt free is shop for...Something else I do lots of guilt free is shop for thrifted fabric for projects. It doesn't work for every project, but a men's xl shirt is enough fabric for a pair of boy's pajama pants. Our thrift store has a bag sale...you can get some great cotton for quilting, etc for $5.Jess and Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00462505854841917096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8471085394238910352.post-10133047691866106712014-01-04T13:39:20.345-05:002014-01-04T13:39:20.345-05:00Very inspiring post! It's easy to feel discouraged with three kids and running a restaurant, but in hindsight I think I got quite a bit accomplished. Your two tops you made for yourself are gorgeous...love them both. The great piles of purchased, unused fabric should not be on the balance sheet!
Kids are tricky little critters aren't they. Yours both look like they're beautifully dressed no matter whether their preference is for dresses or shorts!
Happy new yearLightning McStitchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11955101913822685967noreply@blogger.com
